Abstract

Brugada phenocopy is a condition in which external factors reproduce an electrocardiographic pattern typical of Brugada syndrome without an underlying channelopathy. We present the case of a 14-year-old boy admitted with a low level of consciousness and severe hyponatremia (104 mmol/L) in the context of the onset of Addison's disease.
Upon admission, the electrocardiogram (ECG) showed a pattern compatible with Brugada syndrome type I, which normalized after correction of sodium levels.
